Space for every thought
Carina is a notes app for Mac. Just write, and your notes connect by topic, turn up when you search for what you meant, and gather into a universe you can explore.
-
Just write.
Open Carina and start typing. Everything saves as you go, so there's no save button and nothing to set up first.
-
Notes that connect themselves.
Carina links your notes by topic on its own. Ideas you wrote months apart find each other without tags or folders.
-
Find what you meant.
Search by meaning, not just exact words. Look for "that onboarding idea from the call" and find it, even if you never wrote "onboarding". Search runs on your Mac.
-
A universe of your thinking.
Your notes live in a living universe, with related ideas gathering like stars in a nebula. Wander, zoom in, and see how your thinking fits together.
Yours, on your Mac
Your notes stay on your Mac, and you can export to Markdown anytime. No analytics, no crash reporting, and search runs on your Mac.

What's in the beta?
The core of Carina: writing that saves as you go, notes that link by topic, search by meaning, and the universe view. The beta opens once the new universe view is ready. It's early, so expect rough edges, and tell us what you think at hello@carina.md.
